How to Download Checkra1n:

Before downloading Checkra1n, you should be aware of the following:

  • You can only install Checkra1n on your device using your computer and only macOS is supported right now. The developers are working on a Windows version, which is expected to be released soon.
  • Checkra1n is semi-untethered so whenever your device is rebooted, you must reactive the jailbreak. This also means that the jailbreak doesn’t permanently change your device so removing the jailbreak is as simple as rebooting.
  • Checkra1n only supports iOS 12 or above on A5 to A11 64-bit devices.
  • On the iPhone 5S, iPad Air, and the iPad 2 and 3, Checkra1n is only experimental.
  • The default package manager is Cydia but others can be added.

How to Delete Checkra1n Jailbreak:

Although Chekra1n is a reliable jailbreak, you might decide you no longer want it on your device. No matter why you want to delete it, you can do it in three ways. The first is simply to reboot your device. Checkra1n is semi-untethered and, when your device is rebooted, it becomes inactive. Second, use iTunes to restore your device to the latest firmware. Third, you can install Cydia Eraser from Cydia and use that to remove the jailbreak while retaining your current firmware:

  1. Open Cydia Eraser on your device
