- Click the Start button and you will be asked to put your device into DFU
- Click Next and follow the directions to do so – this may take a few attempts so be patient
- Once your device is in DFU the jailbreak will begin and you will see the verbose boot screen
- Once Checkra1n has been successfully installed, you can close the app and go to your home screen
- Tap the Checkra 1n icon
- Tap Cydia > Install Cydia and wait for the Cydia icon to show on your home screen – your device is successfully jailbroken
How to Delete Checkra1n Jailbreak:
Although Chekra1n is a reliable jailbreak, you might decide you no longer want it on your device. No matter why you want to delete it, you can do it in three ways. The first is simply to reboot your device. Checkra1n is semi-untethered and, when your device is rebooted, it becomes inactive. Second, use iTunes to restore your device to the latest firmware. Third, you can install Cydia Eraser from Cydia and use that to remove the jailbreak while retaining your current firmware:
- Open Cydia Eraser on your device
